Clear Sky CTD evey time I loaded it. Sometimes before I got to the menu.
I uninstalled and re-installed the game 3 times in a row, all CTD.
Now that I have re-installed a 4th time, it lets me load to the menu.
I removed all the language files in 'test' except English. Localisation is 'language = eng' But it still has a Russian menu. Where the heck does it get the Russian text from? And it wont let me load anything. The only button I can use is the "Exit to Windows" I love the STALKER games but they are really pissing me off. Can some one who has played through in English with no problems please help me??

OKAY! I found a = rus file in the unpacked folder. It was obviously loading instaed of the file in the gamedata folder. Gotta be careful.
