Okay - I played most of the buggy Russian release using language packs. While it was a wormy release that was, in truth, no better than beta, I liked it enough that I bought the US Retail today. Problem is, I can't load it. Everytime I try, I get -
"C-Media Device does not exist. Please plug in the device"
*****! I don't use C-Media audio :confused: - I am running an old Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card. I checked under System/hardware and nothing is amiss.
HELP! :(

What can I say - it fixed itself. After re-imaging the drive three times, it started working when I updated the VIDEO driver!!??!!?? The game has been running, heavily modded, crash free. I'd like to b**ch slap the developers, fer sure.
