Alright, the game has worked fine for me up until this point. No CTDs before this, with patch 1.5.04. This is on the return trip to Military Wharehouses, after you talk to Forester for the second time and return to him the Compass artifact. I am on my way back to the merc team, to get their help to fight through the zombies to get the to wharehouses. I've already toasted all the bloodsuckers and dogs in the village, and quick saved to get an artifact that my detector saw, over by where Mirk used to sit in SoC. Not a few moments after my save, before I really have a chance to find said artifact I crash to dest top as though the game was never running in the first place. No error log, no nothing. Just wham bam, here's your desktop. I've tried my autosave when first entering, and same problem. Seems to go the same length of time, before the CTD. So, I did some investigating. Loading my quicksave is useless, as it CTD almost immediately afterward, but I noticed that it quickly repeated a burner sound before the CTD. So, loading my auto I went the wide way around the village to view the spot where Mirk used to chill. Found that there is a bloodsucker there, next to a burner. Seems that everytime he moves, the bloodsucker hits the burner, and causes the CTD. Don't know if it's really that, or a multitude of other things, cause there is a fire fight going on in the distance. I've heard nades go off and gun fire for a while. But, from as far as I can get, that bloodsucker-burner combo seems to be my problem. I'll do a bit more delving into this after I get back from work, but for now I'm just throwing it out there just incase someone else has had the same problem and might know a way around it, or just to throw some support behind my fire loving bloodsucker. heh

Well, found my problem. Turns out the one in Mirks old spot isn't my problem. Offed that one without setting off the burner, only to have me crash a sort while after. So, I combed the village. Turns out, it's another wretched bloodsucker. This guy, no matter how I kill him, causes a CTD. I've used my rifle, nades, mounted launcher, pistol, even my knife, which cost almost all of my 50 or so med kits. Worst part is I can't just ignore him. He's sitting in another house, little ways beside Mirk's yard, full of burners. Which is why I kept getting the looping burner sound before I got my Desktop. So, there it is. Stuck at military wharehouses. I guess I'll be doing alot of exploring in the earlier stages until the next patch comes out.

post your errorlog

99% of the time its in the clipboard and you can paste it into notepad right after the crash

Did as you sudjested Nutz. Went through and found an interesting means to kill that bloodsucker. This time I lead him to that group of mercs and watched as they killed it. And again, dumped me to desktop. But, good call on that clipboard thing, didn't know that happened like that. Got Expression : fatal error Function : CScriptEngine::lua_error File : E:\priquel\sources\engine\xrServerEntities\script_engine.cpp Line : 180 Description : Arguments : LUA error: ...k.e.r. - clear sky\gamedata\scripts\sim_board.script:688: attempt to index local 'obj' (a nil value)

Well, I did some searched around for this particular error, and found a fella who has fixed it. At least for now it works. Managed to get the merc squad moving and into the wharehouses, where I got delt by a friendly nade. heh. Figured I'd get on a post a link for anyone else having this issue. GSC Game World - Official Site All praise goes to the fellow who scripted the fixes. I just root around until I find em. Good hunting everyone
