i am a huge fan of gore. and i haven't been satisfied ever since soldier of fortune 2 came out. before d3 was released, i thought it would be the game to give me all my guts and gore and brains, since they promised "everything will react to being shot as it would in real life " . well instead when u killed things they would just dissapear, and if u download the anti dissapear mode, it still sucked because the blood wounds werent detailed, and looked like u fired a pepsi can in them. half life 2 never promised gore, but it delievered more of it then d3. better blood wounds, AWESOME blood stains, even some dismemberment. only on the zombies unfortunatly, but its better then nothing. for stalker i know ppl wont gib, and wont have their arms and legs fall off. its just not the trend right now. but all im asking is for nice bloody wounds, like Sof2 and HalfLife 2 did, and nice blood stains. although i do wish that ppl lost limbs from grenades, i am sure this wont happen in Stalker. im tired of shooting at ppl and not seeing any wounds, thats all im asking for. i gave up hope for good gore when d3 came out.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R will probably have a decent amount of gore, just look at some of the mutants, and the way they kill. The rats just jump on people and rip them apart, while Bloodsuckers do just what their name says, drink blood. For the game to feel "natural" and "realistic" a certain amount of gore would have to be implemented.

Well in one of the videos an animal is ripped apart inside an anomaly, I'm not sure if this will happen to humans too. Hopefully it will.

I just want them to finish the game without bugs. Gore is pretty much the last thing on my priority list.

Ya i saw that, it was the DX 9.1 movie. The mutant just hovered in the air then exploding into hundrends of gibs, then the guy started shooting a gib lol. But i agree with Ensign. Gore isnt really on my piorty list either.... The AI in the game is enough to make me cry with joy.

Yeah, gore is a nice visual add-on, but if it just has the normal blood effects of most games, I won't mind too much.

The thing that he shot from the anomaly wasn't a gib, it was a stone or an artifact. I think that one is called mincer blood or something...It's a stone that the field creates and it can be quite valuable I think.
