Hey all,

I did a mission to kill the Ex Duty member who joined Freedom (you know the guy guarding the entrance to the base).

I killed him and now all of Freedom are enemies. I'm used OL2.2 (and hence Faction Change And Reset). I went to pay barman/sid to reset them to neutral, but the option isn't there; my guy just says "everything alright, my fault!" em_smile_51.gif

I checked the game_relations.ltc file, and it's set as neutral in there too em_smile_51.gif

So, are these characters always going to be hostile? Or if I kill another member, will I be able to then reset them to neutral? Or are their individual judgement now set in the all.spawn?

Please tell me I can make them friendly. I have about a half dozen rewards for completed missions awaiting me from Skinflint and Lukash!!

The value in game_relations isn't dynamic. It's always set the same, no matter what you've done to a faction.

Just open it up, make a note of what it was before, then change their relation to you, to 5000. This will make them friendly. Go into the game, save and exit, then change their relation back to what it was before.

I don't know if you'll need to change your relation to them as well. You might still see them as enemies if you don't. Just change theirs first and see what happens.

Sorry I forgot to update this thread. Well, anyways, I went and killed a couple of the guards. I went back to bar, and I then had the option to buy forgiveness lol. So back to AW, and some of the freedom were neutral, but most, including Lukash were still hostile.

Unfortunately, it looks like I've royally pissed off Lukash's gang. Is there any way I can make induviduals friendly, is it that an all.spawn job?

I don't know how the individual NPC relations work, but yeah, it's probably defined in the all.spawn. If you edit game_relations it'll affect the whole faction, so the guards and Lukash should be neutral when you're done :nodding:

Nope, I tried it, they were deeply pissed. Doesn't matter too much, I just annihilated the lot of them, and now duty love me.

Interesting concept: I totally forgot about the coop feature. I just discovered it accidently when talking to friendly duty member. I went up to the guy on walkway, you know, the "get out of here stalker!" dude; I can even make him follow me! Wonder if he'd shout "get out of here stalker!" every two seconds while following me?

STALKER keeps on getting better! :) :bows:

There is no real way to individuly re-asighn friends friends or none friends. if you go into the game relations file they have the default settings. but your actions twords the othe stalkers and factions are kept tract by the game as well as faction status. for exsample. you killed the freedom guy, the ex dutyer, how ever doing so did it caused you to be apart of duty? if so you need to get out of duty first and be nutral to buy off freedom. the only adjustment I did in the game relations file was setting my -number the same as the AI. now in the game I am no longer singled out and we all get attacked the same level and pace...
