Enough with the 'cutscenes/cinagraphics' already!!! Im not sure but, I think that 'METRO 2033' is made by the same people that brought us the Stalker series ( thats why I posted this thread in this forum ). I've been playing this game for a couple days and its pretty cool but, I find myself 'enduring' the 'cutscenes' more than I find myself playing the game! Granted that many games are story driven but, things are getting out of hand as far as the frequency of cutscenes go! Its not just this game, its many games! If I wanted to watch a movie, Id rent a DVD! What do you guys think? Im alone or do you hate them too?

Don't count me in, I like most cutscenes.. I've played the Mass Effect series over and over again, And still I love seeing the cuts. It's something you get used to. Trust me ;)

I trust that you have an opinion and I respect that! I dont get used to it! Im not new to gameing! Maybe I should 'refine' my opinion to 'excessivly long' cutscenes, or ones that CANNOT be cancelled! I just played a game and died 5 or so times trying to complete a task. Everytime I 'respawned' I had to watch a bot squad member prye open a door with his knife. This to me is excessive ( takes the bot about 2min. each time ). Have you ever tried ' Necrovision '? I swear the game had more cutscenes than actual 'uncoded' game play. I find games like that are linear ( only one way of completing the game ). Anyways, thanks for your comment :nodding:

This is from the Metro 2033 Wikipedia page. 'Developer(s) 4A Games Publisher(s) THQ Engine 4A Engine'

THQ is in there, as they are with STALKER. I dunno, but it seriously looks like it from just a few screen shots.

Also 'The company was formed in Kiev, Ukraine. It was founded by people who split off from GSC Game World a year before the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, in particular Oles' Shiskovtsov and Aleksandr Maksimchuk, the programmers who worked on the development of X-Ray engine used in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.'

<3 Wikipedia. So yeah. The reason it LOOKS like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., is because they most likely were involved in the production of the game.

Its like 'diet' stalker! But Im not on a diet. But, still my bitch is about 'coded' bot action and cutscenes. SOME games go to far ( IN GENERAL IM NOT ATTACKING METRO 2033 ( IT JUST PUSHED ME OVER THE TOP )).
