192837465;3622203The Tark should be thrown back in, like in another thread for 6 years of dev, they should have added a larger variety of mutants in there... the Tark would have been one freaky creature to run into.. imagine at night, you hear their cry not to far away, you flick on ur NV or flashlight and see a pack runnin right at ya..

LOL at that point you may want to have a extra pair of undies,though i do heavily agree the tark should seriously be thrown back in...i wonder if they are still in script...

i ran into a nasty bloodsucker during the main quest in dark valley. in the middle of a field. definitely wasnt expecting that. luckily it got the guy next to me. on the warehouses map, you can stand outside the freedom base and watch bloodsuckers roam the map. one time, he got the exoskeleton guy (i think sparrow) in the middle of the map, who happened to have the combat chaser unique weapon. nice. Also, in the warehouses map i saw that freak anamoly i think 'pyrogeist' that you saw in the x18 lab in a ball of flames. in the warehouses map it was electric. also, i probably saw the biggest occurance of rats anywhere. i returned to the x18 lab game weeks after getting out of there, and there were dozens of rats. they were pretty cool, i have to say. killed a few of them. also, does anyone know how to get upstairs in the x18 lab facility? like there are stashes that you can tell are somewhere 'in' the building, but not on the first floor.

not sure if this is where you mean but if you carry on to the end of the second room in the warehouse above lab x18 instead of turning right to go down the lab go left and up a staircase and you can reach the roof.

Something very wierd happened to me in pripyat yesterday.... I was searching around at the stadium at night (being suicidal as usual) having a look around for the legendary rat, when all of a sudden I heard a loud series of odd grunting noises, and then a pseudogiant came out of nowhere, then another and another.... then there was tons of odd squeaking ratty noises and then bloodsucker breathing sound, and then my game crashed. WHAT WAS GOING ON!? (I have no mods installed)

Lack of monsters Lack of a storyline No freeroam after Far to many stalkers lots of bugs things taken out Framerate issues, even with 8800's and much more

yet they had 6 years.... in 6 years, i bet DICE, ID Software, or Valve could have made a masterpiece.

Again, its fun for others, not fun for some. I had fun for the first 5 hours, then after it just became repetitive.. i got all the endings, all weapons, etc.. and eh.. the Mutants die so easily, and once u beat the game, and tried all the weapons.... whats the point in continueing? there isnt much to explore.. and its all the same thing.

Anywho, I was expecting a lot more for 6 years of development.. They even had to remove some things, which is pretty sad.

Well, i think i proved my point here.. im done lol, continue on now.

I wish they made the tark, neat lookin creature

well frankly my self i did find the game pretty boring at times..i wish they could of left the monsters in there and as far as free roaming goes i wish we could do that..as the engine goes i still say they should of used the unreal3 engine.at least that engine not only supports 64 bit systems but also has the stability of i guess you could say linux plus not to mention with the unreal3 engine they would be maps out for stalker by now plus not to mention it's ultra versatile you can do any thing with that engine..the x-ray engine need some mega work before i would consider it a great engine if you want to know a bad bug i found that when the screen says client:synchronizing if your were to hit a button like a movement key like "W" the game crashes.you won't see any other gaming engines doing that but like you said in 6 years the game engine you have mention plus the unreal engine would have seriously made stalker a master piece
