I'm sure it's been asked before. Either I didn't look hard enough but I can't find one(Demo or the question).

I want to make it works on my computer before buying the full version.

Thanks

I was afraid you would ask that.

It's not that good but it does well above it's spec's

Laptop, 32bit video card, 2gig ram, 1.6 dual core.

It has played World in Conflict, Star Trek Legacy and Empire Earth 3 with very good graphics... which require a 128bit Video card.

This is why I'd prefer to try a demo first

if you can play wic, you can play most games out now, but dont think you can run it with fdl on the highest, but it works. i dont think stalker is expensive now, like 15 euros here in holland... ye it ll work, but there is no demo for stalker as far I know

In fact, there is Multiplauer Demo released prior to whole game, but in Russian only. So for anyone who would like it, here it is (file size approx. 550mb). It has possibility to change resolutions&quality settings. ftp://ftp.bih.net.ba/pub/ga/beta/stk-mp-setup.exe

don't bother downloading that multiplayer demo. prob doesn't even work now. just go buy it, it's cheap and you won't regret it.

Yea, but my fear is that it won't work on my computer...I'm on a tight budget. It's going to be hard enough explaining to my wife why I bought it in the first place but even worse if it doesn't work.

From looking at that and my other games I've ran I'd say it should. One last thing- Has anyone had any problems installing it on Vista... as I noticed its only saying XP/2000

Thanks
