This game is taking as long as HL2. I am so tired of waiting for years for a great game, play it for few days, then start waiting years for the next.

Yes, offtopic: will there be a STALKER MP mode or have they decided not to bother?

There will be a multiplayer part to the game. The only thing that will be disappointing about it is wheter or not they are going to have to can coop.

Well, if this follows the pattern of Half Life 2, (which it is right now), then maybe it will follow it's path to legendary greatness?

What we all have to do is stop waiting for games, just accept them as they come out. It takes years to make these sort of games and all for a few days of fun. I think that its better to wait for an extra few months then to have a crappy game that dissapoints us.

Another good thing is to stop expecting things. If we expect too much from a game we might get dissapointed, but if you dont know too much about a game, then when you do play it, it can blow you away :)

What we NEED - Lotsa free full version games or lotsa money so we can buy the rest of whats out there at the mo.

What we HAVE - Many new games, all out about the same time, cost too much, and take years to make.

WHY??? The companies are all competing, so they release the games at the same time, so the people have 70% bored while waiting and afterwards, 20% playing, and 10% bitching about how it was a disappointment.

If they weren't so eager to out-sell the others, games could be released steadily throughout the year and the gamers would be happy, and have no time to complain about anything.

I agree. Take a look back seven years ago and games were of a lot higher quality when put in proportion to today's. They also had a lot fewer bugs since they tested them over and over again. Since the Internet wasn't as common you just couldn't ship a buggy game and expect people to download loads of patches. :uhm:

I don't play one good game and wait for another, I just get a lot of games that I play them and try them, which I hardly leave time for even playing mods or even some games that I left playing them without finishing or starting them at all. Now, I stopped getting games, because I got too many to try out and started focusing also on pc games news and stuff like that, which I download cool videos from Filefront and some other websites, especailly Quake 3, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Sims 2, and Stalker vids.
