Once the game nears release, it will probably become much more well known with the increased news that will surely surround the game.

This game is not a game I would necessarily going to call an FPS, it isn't going to attract quite as much attention at first. People tend to stick with playing what they know, and most people play just the shooters.

hmm i think people that liked operation flashpoint will get this because of the similiar style game play and the people that enjoyed the story of hl2 they will get this. I think it will become more well known after it is released and wont be as hyped up as hl2 and doom3 and will start to sell more as people really enjoy it and encourage their friends to get it.

It may not be as hyped up as Half Life 2 and Doom 3, but it will still be hyped up. It will be featured in a lot of Gaming Magazines and online gaming sites such as Gamespot, so a lot of readers will notice it.

since that game is made by a ukrainian company....no one hears about it.....i feel this game is like the small stone that will start an avalanche in the gaming community...

Much like Operation Flashpoint. I believe that game also was started by a Ukrainian game company.

Yea, I knew about the game from GameSpot. I wouldn't find out about Stalker if I didn't find out about GameSpot that had previews of the game that interested me. I even found about Game Spot Site in a coincidence then I found about Filefront site from Game Spot site. Hardly anybody knows about those sites in MI; actually there is hardly a nerd gamer like me in MI. Anyway, the important thing is to spread the word Stalker and those sites above to be known to future gamers including my favorite forum below (Look at the Signature). Here is a Stalker thread that is found in my favorite Forum http://fadi.omniro.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=79
