is it possible to make it with pressing 1 button once, in stead of holding it down?

not sure about sneak, because i never use it.

but run is toggle, you press X once, and keep holding down W and you'll run until you get shot.

i don't understand why you want zoom to be toggle, it makes more sense to hold down a button, and when being attacked, just release that button

Not really. I play COD2 MP (which I'm really good at) a lot and use the aim toggle. I use my mouse button (the button on the side of my Logitech G7). It's a pain in the butt to have to keep holding this button down while firing. Most FPS games I own that have iron sights for the weapons have a toggle option. COD2 and GRAW are two that come to mind.;)

Toggeling the zoom in unrealistic in my opinion, i prefer to have it like it is.

Have you looked around the files yet to see if there is a setting for it?

There is no setting. It would have to be included in a patch I'm guessing. Most games have an option to toggle along with the default. I don't know how anybody can say toggling the zoom is unrealistic. That statement makes zero sense. What is not realistic about a zoom (or any function) toggle in a video game?

probably the fact that you wouldn't want a rifle scope glued to your face in real life?

Zoom toggle only makes sense in certain games IMO. In a war game where you have lots of key bindings, squad members helping to suppress the enemy and no sprint option like COD2, toggle zoom works OK. In a game where you're on your own, can sprint and have fewer key bindings it's best to be able to quickly release the R Mouse button and sprint simultaneously to avoid the unexpected. I even use hold zoom in COD2 sometimes when I play with the WiCoPP Reality mod as there are no grenade indicators and you need to get moving fast somtimes. In those instances I use toggle crouch instead and only crouch when I am a safe distance from grenades. Basically the more key bindings you have to worry about the more likely you're going to want to make at least one of them toggle. If it's a game that allows for methodical tactical gameplay where the enemies aren't constantly rushing youit can work to toggle zoom or crouch.

LOL! Once again another statement that makes zero sense. This is a video game and not real life! When was the last time (in real life) you held a button down to use a scope or iron sight on a weapon? Place your witty comment here__________________. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please read what I'm saying as I've already stated! I'll put it differenlty here for you..... I use a specific key for all games of this type (my Logitech G7 mouse button which is the thumb button). I use the left for fire and right for jump. It's a pain in the ass to hold this thumb button down. It doesn't take much effort (for me anyway)to click this button more than once in a split second. I have tried switching around buttons (such as the keyboard for this function) for different games and end up getting confused when switching between games. Like I stated earlier in my other post, I've used a toggle for this funtion in other games which have an option along with the default. If YOU don't like to toggle this function there is and should be an option! All the games I own(that use iron sights)have this as an option. All we are asking is for an option, not your opinion that YOU don't need one or for some nonsensical reason that it's unrealistic. I do pretty damn good in COD2MP using this as a toggle. If I didn't have this as a toggle I'm willing to bet I'd be a lot worse at that game. I toggle this button and it's what works best for me. Must be the same for others as it's a widely used function. What works best for you might not be so for others.

Well put. Regardless though I'd like to have the option. I think I'd use it in any game that made it available. It wouldn't make the game any less enjoyable for anybody.
