okay, firstly you have to buy a silencer/scope/grenade launcher

then you drag the item up to the gun in your main holster slot and release.. when the cursor points at the right part of the weapon

The only way to do that, is through a repair mod, which a couple have been released.

There are also some realism mods now that have repair mods built in. The only problem I see with repair mods is you have to do the repair at the traders. Once you leave Cordon that means there are only select places to repair at. Once you go to the Brain Scorcher, unless you backtrack all the way to Bar, which is annoying because you have to deal with Mercs all over again, you are left with NO repair. You add this to the fact that many incorporating repair mods in their realism mods are also making the weapons you pick up from corpses severely damaged, and you have something that is not well thought out. IMO it would be FAR better to have repair kits available for sale at the traders to supplement the repair service they do. I mean let's be real here, these weapons are not as fragile as they make them sound. Mostly what they need is simple maintenance cleaning and oiling. Every modern day soldier sent to battle goes through gun cleaning and oiling training and carries such tools in the field. Does anyone know of any realism mods that have gun maintenance kits for sale?

you can ether drag the silencer/scope/grenade launcher to the gun like posted above or you can also right click on the silencer/scope/grenade launcher and it will pop up with a little menu asking if you want to install it on the gun
