well, i'm certainly not a big modder, but i understand, and have to admit that the comuities are not always and kind as atrocious is for me lol :cya: :p but i mean, we just care about the modders that we like don't we? and i realy don't think you should leave this community, just make some fun, if you like mini mods, well feel free to join the noobmodders :nodding:, i'm certainly not a big modder, i just do it for fun and to add some small ideas, that you think : why didn't i think of that? :lookaround: i have far more respect for such modders, who help other people in their ideas and stuff, than people who make huge mods but , steal, moan and are not friendly against other modders :) of course, who am i to say what to do and what not? i don't mean shit in the community, but i think my opinion is right, and we should all respect each other, i even respect lord pariah :o :rofl: :cya: ;) cheers pariah :beer:

maybe i didnt make myself clear, i have nothing agaisnt people who make mini mods or whatever, i just used it as example, cuz if i were the type of person that i used in my point, i would take advantage of it to make a "name" or whatever as in contradiction, because even though it was not my intention, i already have a "name", not that i care, it was just an example. well respect shouldnt be set by how many things some1 have released, but should be a matter of common sense, not only mini mod can help others, but posts with good information does the same job, also "big mods" can help others, cuz they download it to see how certain things were done, then they can use part of it ot make they own thing.

Hi, i'm having trouble with the Inferno Mod. I have created a portal in Cordon and then gone to Garbage and created a portal there. But, i did notice that when i created my portal in Cordon it said on the PDA that it went to Bar but whenever i attempted to go through the portal the text didn't appear. I have created portals in the same save file and they worked perfectly but this one is stopping me from playing the game. go to gamedata\scripts open db.script and look for:"remove_portal_spot = "no" change "no" to "yes", this will be a temporary fix for your problem, something probably went wrong when you were creating a portal or deleting and script is trying to check that portal. can pls you send me your save game, the one that you have all portals.

First off, great mod and it adds some cool features to the game.

Since I am new to the forums and I did do a search in this thread, the blow out fix is confusing. Being military I am trained to do one thing well and it has nothing to do with computers so please forgive my ignorance.

I usually get one of those off colored blowouts much quicker than 5 minutes and they happen usually one right after another and I am wondering how you shut them off...I am not patched to 1.04, I still have 1.03 version of STALKER and your mod is the only one I really like so any help would be greatly and most respectfully appreciated.

I went and changed 183 to db.startstime = db.startstime + 420000 and I also did the line randomshake = math.random(1,8000).

I am wondering what else I can do to help with the blowouts. It is the only part of the mod I find completely annoying...

I am sorry if I am in the minority but my intent was not to offend, just looking for some help.
