Hi, I'd like to know how to remove the middle dot from the crosshairs.

'Cause I've got this weird thing whenever I play in 800x600 the dot in the middle of the xhair is pushed over to the left, so it's not directly in the middle for some reason...

Anyway, how can I remove the middle dot entirely, but keep the outside lines?

Thanks!

should be able to do that in settings... i think there is a DISABLE CROSS HAIR button or option... check your game settings a bit

I believe he still wants the crosshair, just minus the dot in the middle.

I have no idea how to achieve that though.

Ok, I did some looking around and I saw a comment on the HUD and blood mod:

Open "..S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobylgamedataconfigsystem.ltx".

I tried to find it but no luck. Maybe if someone could tell me the location of this file, I'd probably be able to carry on from there...

Ok, I found the file. But I don't think I can remove it without an sdk or something.

[hud_cursor] ;âñå ðàçìåðû â ïðîöåíòàõ îò äëèíû ýêðàíà cross_length = 0.010 ;äëèíà "ïàëî÷êè" ïðèöåëà (0.6 - 0.015) min_radius = 0.0 ;ìèíèìàëüíûé ðàäèóñ ïðèöåëà (ïðè íóëåâîé äèñïåðñèè) max_radius = 2 ;ìàêñèìàëüíûé ðàäèóñ (0.6 - 1) radius_lerp_speed = 0.08 ;ñêîðîñòü èíòåðïîëÿöèè ïîëîæåíèé ïðèöåëà cross_color = 0.7,0.7,0.7,1.0 ;öâåò ïðèöåëà disp_scale = 0.8

Unless I missed something it's all for the outside lines.
