Hi, i am learning more an more as each day goes by on the structure of the STALKER game engine and how the game works, this has made me think on making a mod for this game sooo i would like peoples ideas to be officially posted in this thread all ideas that are taken will be announced and i will post credits for those who gives me the ideas i currently have the following ideas, [1]: Balance (this is gonna be prioritised all the way through) [2]: New sounds (this is a possibility but i'll look into it) - might not happen [3]: New weapons (Post your weapon ideas down in this post plz) [4]: New textures (i will texture things acordingly) [5]: Possibility of new creatures (once i got the general layout of the game i will look into new creatures - also post ideas) [6]: Possibility of new levels (looking into it now) thanks for reading Developement details: this is a really big mod for one person to do so i am hoping to put a team together you can email me at [EMAIL="jimbo_hallam@hotmail.co.uk"]jimbo_hallam@hotmail.co.uk[/EMAIL] tell me your experiences and time you have available any help will be appriciated Credits: 100% credits to people who help names will be displayed etc thanks - jimbo PS: i will update progress to this thread so check back :) **FINAL NOTE** if i dont get enough help or i dont get enough time then i will close this project but i'll let everybody know

Hi, I am new to the modding community but I'd like to help put with this mod in some way. I have basic modding experiance. So i could help out with that or help research things or something. For weapons I have the idea to add light MG's. I've made one based upon the SA80/L85. I can give you details on that if you are intrested. For mutants I have the idea to make some that fly. It would add a new element of fear. This might need the SDK though. Maybe Flying bloodsuckers, or boars (flying pigs). Anyways these are just thoughts.

NOW THIS I REALLY LIKE, the kind of ideas i am looking for cooper even if u couldnt mod u could just be my idea machine ;) nah i'm kidding i welcome the help please though can you email me so i know what experiences you have, i need you to send me an email of what you can do and how much time u have also i am going to construct a website dedicated to the developement of the mod, but like always updates and things will be posted on this website thx for your interest :)

On another note i have a really important announcement i have come up with 3 names to the mod and i will like to take a vote on what the mod should be called i have placed these 4 names and i want to see what people like best [COLOR=red][1]: HOE ---> Hell On Earth[/COLOR] [COLOR=red][2]: ROTM ---> Rise of the mutants[/COLOR] [COLOR=red][3]: DSP2 ---> Disaster story part 2.[/COLOR] [4]: TPM ---> The people's Mod [COLOR=black]please vote it would be nice to get some feedback on what people want[/COLOR] thx for your interest

Once a name has been decided i will post a new thread, also i would like to point out some monster ideas these will be simple changes but effective in the game ok by already using the current mutants that are in the game i will make the following mutants, each has its own description here is a list of what mutants shall be added, red is old blue is new (simple and it rhymes:P) [COLOR=red]blind dog - found everywhere (blind dog with super smell and attacks in packs extremely common everywhere)[/COLOR] [COLOR=red]psuedogiants - found everywhere (but more common deeper in the zone)[/COLOR] [COLOR=red]bloodsuckers - found eveywhere (but more common deeper in the zone)[/COLOR] [COLOR=red]snorks - found everywhere (but more common deeper in the zone)[/COLOR] [COLOR=red]poltergiests - found only in buildings (but more common deeper in the zone) [/COLOR] [COLOR=red]zombies - found everywhere (but more common around psi zones)[/COLOR] [COLOR=red]controllers - found randomly walking about in every map[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkslategray]next are the new monsters but are easy to make using the previous monsters in game[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue]ravinous dog - Just like the blind dog only it doesnt like anybody or anything and it will attack alone (found deep in the zone)[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue]enraged bloodsucker - a new breed of bloodsucker, extremely fast at running, dangerous with its attack still with the ability to cloak (extremely common deep in the zone, very few are sighted around the out zone perimeter)[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue]possessed snork - a snork that has been possessed by the poltergiest, this is a fast monster with powerful attacks, as well as the poltergiests psychic attacks including object moving and fireball attacks (only found deep in the zone)[/COLOR] this next creature, idea given to me by "cooperben" is a possibility i will try and get this creature working [COLOR=blue]Terror bat - flying type creature with aerieal attacks, extremely dangerous (found all over except in buildings)[/COLOR] [COLOR=black]you will still get your basic enemy stalkers and bandits too[/COLOR] all of these creatures are new ideas and shall be implemented, weapons ideas are still in progress but so far the mod is 5% complete on the idea front, actual progress of the mod is unknown please check back thx for your interest

I've got an idea, Using the icon from the anti-rad i got the idea to make some kind of "Super drug". It could let you sprit farther, jump higher and make you more resistant to things. To get it i got the idea that you would have to find a snork foot and bring it to the ecologists, Or maybe different effects for different mutant parts? Like Snork lets you jump, dog tail more fire resistance, and flesh eye better sight? It would be like artifacts but it would be stronger effects for limited time. Any thoughts?

Hey guys (and girls, if there are any) Im new to the whole modding scene, but im willing to help all i can Just a thought for a name; Hell Reborn I know quite a bit about firearms and could easily get ideas for some weapons. You could even create a new faction. Im not sure how you would do it but it could be a "hunter" faction. You can get recruited if you kill loads of mutants and they have a base, perhaps in one of these "new areas". Will this get rid of the main story and the Monolith and the military etc? Because you could have all factions set to neutral (apart from bandits, theyre just b***ards) when you're in this faction and have assignments set all over the zone. You could even build a base at Pripyat, so loners could hideout there on their way to the NPP. Coop, the idea of new weapons light LMGs has been thought about and GSC cut the Pulemet Kalashnikova Modernised out of the game. Thats the PKM btw. The P90, M134 Minigun and PKM were cut for some reason. There are probably more weapons but i cant be bothered to look. And, the LMG version of the SA-80 is called the L86A1. NOT the L85, the L86. Jimbo, you could add a new arena match, 3 Stalkers will be put into the arena and mutants will pour into the arena in waves. Its a basic survival, say, 5 waves? Just a thought, you could have the join any faction thing that rspeed and the ABC mod has. But set the recruitment areas to all traders and this new trader in Pripyat for example. [ NO WAY am i running the whole map through hostile areas to get to the safe area (like The Warriors :lol:)] If you need to message me add Lewisthekid to Xfire and ill talk to u there. ok i cant just recruit anybody to help out, dont forget u dont get paid :D but the name for the mod is Hell On Earth, it was just from the choices, in the weapon help section i can already do that myself, my aim for this mod is to completely remove the story but keep the side missions and maybe some new side missions with new stashes etc, also for the moment i am not gonna be moddling new weapons, its too much for the 1st release for now it will be just the normal weapons that are in game with some new textures maybe, some new weapon types and maybe i'll see if Rspeed will contribute the coding and files for the artifact activation but i'll send him a PM about that, the new monsters ive already outlined as with the desriptions ive added anyways i'm gonna make a new thread so please go check it out, [H.O.E.]Mod in developement "coming soon" (Details inside)

i like the idea contributions but i must say that i am trying to keep it as realistic and down to earth as possible ;) but thx for the input
