First post so i just want to say hello. I really like the game but want to change some things. I have downloaded some mods but dont know where to put them. I also want to try and make my own mods. But when I open up my game folder I do not have a "gamedata" folder. I thought this is where the "config" folder was and all the files to modify were. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

MrPink

some of the mods already include the gamedata folder for you, just have a look in the folder you've downloaded into your stalker folder then select and move the gamedata folder into your main stalker folder. if not then you should be able to move all the mod files into the gamedata folder you've created with no problem, unless i'm mistaken, all the mods i've tried include the folder for you. good luck.

If you're looking to only play mods, then you don't need to extract the .db* files. If you want actually create mods, then yes, you will need to extract the .db* files.
