HELP finding IDs on two characters -1 reply

I am looking for the Specific_Character ID's on two characters in SOC. The first is the wounded guy in the building with Seriy. And the second is the guy when you first go into Agroprom and yells for you to help cuz the military is attacking Mole's group.

I want to make both invulnerable but I can't for the life of me find either of them in any of the Character_desc files, nor can I find reference to the script for the guy shouting help.

If you can provide the Specific_Character ID on both of these guys and which files to find them in I will sing your praises forever!

I could probably find out the id for the wounded guy in the garbage or both if I wanted to, and make them invulnerable but it's pointless to make either of them invulnerable. The agroprom guy disappears and you never see him again. The wounded guy probably disappears as well. So what would be the point.

In reality no character simply disappears, the alife takes them somewhere and they will wonder the zone leaving piles of enemies.

Id recommend starting in \gamedata\config\gameplay\ folider and looking at character_desc_agropom.xml and character_desc_garbage.xml it has some sort of IDs for spawned NPCs. I think you make their meshes invulnerable so any stalker with that mesh will be invincible. Not to sure why you want to make THOSE 2 invincible, i would just use VI-NPC mod by atro and have the main guys invincible so that they can upkeep camps and stuff.

For Mole i know for a fact the AI gets disabled so that the group that stands outside of the entrance to the agropom underground dosent run back into the base and attacks the military. OL got izloms wondering that area and they soon start to charge the group and simply kill them because they dont shoot back. The game eventually de-spawns dead bodies.

As for Fox you have to remind me where he is. If he's the one at the garbage hangar ive seen him actually head for the dark valley now and then, unfortunately if they are not invincible they sooner or later die and de-spawn. They dont just disappear.

So to sum up they end up dead.

I think those two guys don't have character descriptions. They are spawned directly in all.spawn. So if you want to change their suits (which is necessary to make them invulnerable) you would have to change all.spawn and start a new game.

Yep, that's why he would have to copy the mesh and save it under a unique name, before editing it. Also for OL he would have to a list in xrs_armor.script to prevent those NPC to switch their armor.

I most surely ment escape :p but i thought fox was in garbage hangar not the guide spot. And i see a dead body of fox quite often when i get to that place when i go to meet the guide. I think he may wonder away and die someplace else thats why you dont meet them.

It is a shame that you dont see mole after agropom, but speaking of editing NPCs, atro can you check out THIS post of mine and tell us if it would work in theory?

I did see Fox's corpse one time. His corpse was located at the first mission building (with wolf's scouts). His corpse was on the other side of the fence that you can't jump over. I know it was him because he was the only npc I gave a green exosuit to. I didn't check if he was still there later though.
