I'm looking for a guide mostly or if anything a way of making them more visible. Also if there is a way make them harmless to make the game more of a past pace FPS?

Someone here did try to mod the anomalies off, I don't know if he succeeded. He was going to make the anomalies radius zero, and damage also zero.

I never edited them, but it looks like the different anomalies have their own files. In gamedata\config\misc

zone_ameba.ltx zone_burningfuzz.ltx zone_buzz.ltx zone_gravi.ltx zone_mincer.ltx zone_mosquitobald.ltx zone_witchesgalantine.ltx zone_zharka_static.ltx

I don't know which one is which anomaly. Also there are some more files, for the campfires for example.

In the files I've found hit_impulse_scale = 0.3;0.5 ;0.1 You could edit the number to make them weaker, I guess. Lower number should be less impact. Only the first number is important. The other are just comments.

To make them more visible, I think you have to edit the particles.xr. I don't know how that could be done.

Edit:

He succeeded, but didn't tell how he did it. I think he did, what I wrote above. There's also effective_radius = 0.65 in the files, that should make them smaller, if reduced.

Zharka = Burner Burningfuzz = burnt fuzz (the seaweed-like green stuff that hangs from ceilings and other objects) buzz = electro

I'm not sure about the rest. I guess gravi could be springboard, and mincer either a vortex or whirligig. (whats the difference between a vortex and whirligig btw?)

Correction to these, I checked what types of artifacts these do, and came up with these:

Zharka = Burner mosquitobald = springboard buzz = fruit punch gravi = vortex mincer = whirligig witchesgalantine = electro and i guess burningfuzz is Burnt fuzz anomaly.

Wow, I always wondered what that stuff was. I thought it was just plastic etc stuck in the trees!

It actually does some affect to you sometimes. Makes you dizzy when you get to close to it. Not very serious effect though.
