So for some reason BioShock comes up a lot when talking about this game. I have been thinking of a way to include some additional powers to your character, such as fireballs, electricity, etc... Obviously this game was not made for this, so should be an interesting challenge. Any modders have any thoughts or advice? Here are a few things I have come up with: I would have to use a gun as the base for this mod (unless someone else has another idea) Modify the weapon ltx to not show a gun model (can worry about the animation after I get this mod working). Then editing the weapon properties such as the muzzle flash, damage, etc... Animations/Effects - bullets shown as a fireball or similar? Using the muzzle flash or other fire animation. Sound Usage Ammo: Magic meter? Scrolls/items?

You could use the fist attack mod on Stalkerfiles for a weapon base. I dunno about the rest of it though, since I'm a total noob at modding. So far all I've done is change stats and names on weapons and armor lol.

I was expecting that a stupid idea as a reply, but thanks. I'll take a look at that file you mention. Side note - where do you adjust the armour stats in OL 2.2? I've changed all the weapons to no degrade, but couldn't find armour.

gimpyding, about the armor stats , check outfits.ltx and amk_mod_outfits.ltx at config\misc folder
