Grimreaper1986;3623771:rolleyes: if u r making it so ur character never gets hungry you are cheating then
All right then... someone make me a mod so that I *must* sleep, take a dump, and take a leak every once in a while, just so that it's all more "real".
Then, I'll accept that I need to be hungry :p
In the middle of a firefight :)
Final Warrior;3624205@Jekyll: Technically the Zombie Stalkers aren't zombies in the traditional sense (i.e., they were dead and now they've come back to life). They're just rendered severely mentally retarded (due to the Brain Scorcher) while retaining lower-level/basic cognitive and motor functions (i.e., shooting, walking, breathing, etc.); they were never dead in the first place.
Not entirely true. If you ask around, you'll hear a story from almost anyone about a Stalker that tried to enter the Brain Scorcher effected area (Forgot the name of the place, Red Forrest?) As they story goes, they see him walk in, stop, fall over, then get back up again in a few minutes and walk towards the center of the zone.
Too me, that sounds like he died and came back, but it could just be Brian Frying in progress, but I like my Zombies undead, so I'll believe that.
In-game lore states that they're not actually zombies, but it's due to the Brain Scorcher deep-frying the stalker's brain.
And besides, getting your brain fried would probably induce unconsciousness.
PS. Brain Scorcher is in Yantar, isn't it?
I've been thinking. An interesting mod to try and make would be to edit NPCs so they spawn with more ammo, but actually use it up. (as it is, on box is an endless supply for them). If you then made ammo otherwise rare in game it would make it so you could let the enemy use up their ammo for an easy kill (but get no ammo loot) or kill them quickly for more ammo loot. If balanced right it would make for an interesting game play change.
An even more improved addition would edit the AI so their rate of fire changed depending on their ammo supply and distance from target.
Though might need to add NPC use of mele weapons as backup (haven't seen this in game but then again they always have guns and ammo).
Final Warrior;3624300PS. Brain Scorcher is in Yantar, isn't it?
Well, there are two. There's the Lab X16 Mini-Model then the Big-Ass Monolith controlled one cutting off safe access to Pirapat.
Well, if you hung around in the Yellow Zone of Yantar with the thing still on, you loose health and eventually die. So that points to a traditional "Kill - Reanimate" zombiefacation approach, and I think if your brain got fried, you'd die for sure, especially in a case where they were out for a few minutes. You'd go brain dead, then-- Hard to explain without some spoiling...
This argument could go on, but to my knowledge, there only exists vague references to how this all happens, so I don't think we'll find a "YOU DIE YOU ZOMBIE" or a "YOU GO BRAIN DEAD SLAVE" total answer.
