Hey guys, I was wondering how one would go about changing the item value of an object, particularly the bandit outfit, so that it can be worth more. I changed the cost value in the outfit.ltx file but that didnt seem to work.

Hey tomcat, The cost is the correct item to change, however, think of it as a base cost. The suit may be worth say 1000, but the trader will only pay a percentage of the price, and even then the price is factored down according to its condition. For example if you are using vanilla trader files, Sidorovich's trader file includes the following entries. [trader_generic_buy] bandit_outfit = 1, 0.3 He pays you the price between the two.... so the middle of 1 and 0.3 is 0.65 - he pays 65% of whatever the cost is (if jacket is in perfect condition). [trader_after_fabric_sell] bandit_outfit = 2, 4 Again similar, but this time for selling the item.... so the middle of 2 and 4 is 3, he charges you 3 times the price for the jacket!! Robbing b******!! Some traders pay more, or charge less, when you have completed certain missions, and if you have used trader files from a mod the mark up and mark down could be even more severe.
