I was wondering how to combine Oblivion lost and Realism Graphics mod (Realism Graphic Mod, Stalker Downloads, Stalker Singleplayer)

The problem is that both mods use "light_night" and "weather_default" files. What I want is to make colors look more natural and that sun rises in the east and sets in the west, what Realism Graphic mod does, but I don't want to loose weather features from OL (Blowout, random weather, etc)

So what values should I change and what values should I leave? Also, whats up with that "weather_default2" file?

Actually i was wondering if this would work with ol and would like to have this on my game as well.

So what should we change to make it work with OL?

By copying the RGM Shaders folder into the OL gamedata folder you will get the brighter general tones and colors - if OL has a shaders folder already just rename it first - ie. make it shadersOL1 or something. Sun position is relatively easy to edit yourself - in any of the weather_xxxxxx files you'll see right at the bottom of the configs for each time period a line that reads something like: sun_dir = -24.0, 262 - the first number is the elevation and the second is the direction. For the hours when the sun is above the horizon (ie. will be from 0500 maybe??), just change the direction figure to the reciprocal - ie. for 262 it will be I think 082 - do that for hours up to maybe 1200 or 1300 (best to do it to the hour where the elevation figure is highest before it begins to reduce) - you will then have sun rising from the East and then following the original path down to the western (ish) horizon for sunset. If there's a gap at the high point - ie. the sun's highest point is only partway up the Eastern sky by the changeover, it's no drama as it will just fairly rapidly transit thru to the afternoon direction - may even blink across at some point - but either way I just about guarantee you won't notice it.

I'm so sorry but I don't understand how those numbers work and to what should I change them. I have 4 weather files: weather_chernobyl, weather_default, weather_default2, weather_surge. So can you please tell me exact values that I need to write in each file or please send me entire weather files.

Also I did copy shader folder and everything looks fine except one thing. Shadows! They are all jagged and they twitch when I move. It's nothing too bad but can get distracting sometimes. Is there any console tweak that I can use to remove that jaggedness.

Thank you very very very much for your reply.

No worries - I haven't actually put OL 2.2 into my STALKER yet (I actually prefer AMK so don't normally use OL at all) - but I'll take a look and post back here with the lines for you to copy and paste right into those config files. As for the shadow jaggies - are you playing with dynamic lighting or static lighting? - if you're using dynamic lighting (to be seeing jaggy shadows I think you are on dynamic lighting) I can put the relevant section of my user.ltx on here for you to copy and paste into yours - which should fix it. Unfortunately it might not be until sometime this weekend before I get that stuff on here for you...

For Balious and others who would like to combine OL and RG here are the files to do so.

Download: Download OLRE.zip from quipe - Host-A Hosting

This little mod enables the sun to rise in the east and set in the west without messing up the random dynamic weather feature of Oblivion Lost. To install it just copy those files in "gamedata/config/weather" and overwrite existing ones.

No new game required.

All the work was done by Chubbachup, so all credit goes to him. Please report any problems here.

And how it does look like if you also mix this with Sky4CE shaders?
