does anyone know how to edit all the documents you find so that you can store them in a stash? i'm fed up with having all these documents in my inventory :mad: there is one that can be stored in a stash and that is a letter from sid, (its the only one with weight) ive had ago but cant find an answer.

here is some code found in quest_items.ltx

letter from sid #1 can be stored in stashes, unlike the second letter, which is because it has been removed from the code due to all the ; in front of each line, unlike #2, so it must have been moved somewhere. :uhm: I've had a look through items.ltx but i cant find the documents there :confused:

anyone got any ideas?

Yeah hopefully in the v1.2 release they'll have some fixes such as these. Documents shouldn't have any weight to them, that's just dumb. What I did for this mod, first was turn off the Blowout, I just hate that. And then when I started a new game, I just didn't add the document case from the house talking about Priboi's mission, into my inventory. I read it again just for heck of it and then moved on. You don't need to add it to your inventory.

You can try setting the quest_item to false, maybe that is whats stopping you from stashing it. Give it a try. As far as i know the only other thing that it will alter is that now you can accidentally sell the documents.

Use this fix-patch, and each quest documnt you pick up will go to your encyclopedia. the codes too.

Priboi Story 1.1 Fix-Update 2.0 (2008.08.30)

This update contains all former fixes, and addons. We uploaded it in 2 version, to avoid issues with players who don't read readme before play. So here is a version for 1.0004 and 1.0005 patch. This fix requires new game.

If you just downloaded priboi story 1.1, then we recommend to use this patch-fix right away before you start new game!

- We noticed that the light fix was left out, so we added it back. - Also noticed that an other npc uses Kruglov's name too, and well, we should have only 1 kruglov in game. em_smile_01.gif We fixed that. - Also noticed that quest documents can be dropped, but it's not okay. Fixed that too. - There was a typo in a document, so we fixed the codes, now you will be able to open the radar codedoor. - Bes's quest was bugged, we fixed it. - Commander decided to visit agroprom, fixed - If you pick up a task document, it will go to your pda, and disappear from your inventory. You will find it in Encyclopedia "Top Secret Documents" section - If you pick up a document that is not target of your task, it will only go to your Encyclopedia and disappear from your inventory, if you get that task - Only task target documents will disappear. The Sid's letters, and brown suitcase is not mission item, it will stay in your inventory. - Encyclopedia missing entries (ammos) were fixed - Other small unnoticable fixes em_smile_01.gif - Colonel Petrenko is now immortal, like the arena manager, it was needed to keep him alive from instant bar attacks - Rare army warehouse bug fixed with smart terrains - Icons of mp5k and mp5 were fixed - Saiga12c strap position fixed (thx to Kanyhalos) - Traders were fixed (they buy artefacts, but they won't sell them, and they won't buy antidote, only sell) - Widescreen support for inventory, trading windows by Nandersen & ZRP (full readme included)

I was thinking of that, but yes you would be able to sell, drop and trade the documents, and it may also effect the story scripts...stuff lol cause they arnt quest items anymore, if you know what i mean...

varuna;4546403 Ahh sh*t, Colonel Petrenko died in my game, im gunna have to start over then? theres also another bug to do with the groza, the iron sights are straight, so when you aim your aiming to the left more while the shot goes to the right, has this been fixed in this patch?

ye i have the same problem, petrenko died from a blowout, and the groza iron sights, and the grenade launcher sights doesnt line up.

@ Dezodor - with that patch there are alot of random crashes :( i can name two already and i've only just got to the bar, #1: if you try to trade something with bez/lee #2: when you ask the barkeep if he has any quests.

Heres the log for the barkeep crash

EDIT: Ok turns out you cant do tasks for duty either :confused: and documents are being stored in the PDA nor are they disappearing from my inventory, Groza's aim is still off too, I have started a new game aswell, if anything this 'patch' has made the game even worse...

Sorry for double post but I have managed to fix the trader tasks by restoring the priboi 1.1 task_manager.ltx

Appreciate you letting us know. Ive had the same problem and now its fixed thanks to you. Another person had the same problem with the fix, i let them know what to do but im not sure how swapping the older task_manager has influenced my game.

Guys, the problem was, that you downloaded the wrong fix :D

for 1.0004 patch: RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace for 1.0005 pach: RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace

As you see, i uploaded 2 version, for 1.0004 and 1.0005 patches. Priboi story is originally patched for 1.0004, so i decided to make an other version too, that was patched for 1.0005 and release it too in a separate zip file.

The 1.0004 version has no task_manager.script, only the 1.0005 version has it :)

And since you guys using 1.0004, as the log says, you made a misstake when downloaded the 1.0005 version, and updated your gamedata to 1.0005.

You also need to use the old system.ltx, not just the task_manager.script from now if you want to make sure you dont have any crash from now OR redownload the fix for 1.0004, and update the gamedata again (and of course use the old 1.1 release task_manager.script)
