I tried looking around, but I didn't see anything on this.

How would I go about adding music to the ingame PA system, and make certain songs play at certain places (Scores and opera-esque music for Duty, metal and rock for Freedom), what programs do I need? What files to edit?

Help would be appreciated.

You can simply overwrite some sounds with new versions. Here is info about sound editing for Stalker: Editing Music and Sounds - Mod Wiki

I think you cannot change the music for many places tho, because some places share the songs? Some song folders I know: sounds\characters_voice\scenario\bar\radio_music (barkeep radio) sounds\characters_voice\scenario\bar\dolg_megafon sounds\characters_voice\scenario\bar\barman_megafon sounds\scripts\magnitofon (trader radio)

I'd suggest you extract* the sounds folder and look through the files. * Your first modification - Mod Wiki

With a tool like "Agent Ransack" you might also be able to find the config file, when searching by the sound name.

Too late for post edit.

You might want to look at this mod: Small Changes for OL 2.1, Stalker Downloads, Stalker Singleplayer

He wrote, he changed some of the musics.

Well, can't I just use audacity to save a file to .ogg, because I have 56k and don't feel like downloading that SDK, because to me, it's HUGE.

And I already have everything extracted, I was planning on restarting my porting from XRay to Source.

What do you want to port from xray to source?

There is another way of fixing ogg comments for Stalker: Can sumone please fix my .OGG weapon sounds.... - VALUE5games Forum Read post #3

It is a cheap way but not recommended for making proper sounds like weapon sounds etc.
