A lot of CTD's when trying to save or restart save games. Have you installed the patches and hot fixes. There are a few of them on filefront. Probably find the most recent one. Stalker - Rebalanced Hotfix, Stalker Downloads, Stalker Singleplayer

Ya, I've D/L'd the 1503 hotfix that is supposed to fix the ctd's and a few more issues. The only thing that I haven't done is uninstall everything and delete all saved games and do a clean install which is a buzzkill when I'm this far into this mod. But I'm probably gonna have to go down this road.

But, since you asked. The Save / Load bug is a known issue, unfortunatly there is not a lot that can be done about it at the moment. The v1.05.3 patch relieves it some what, but dosn't entirely eliminate it.

If you check through the Reb threads at Stalker Files & GSC Forums, there are users who describe ways that it can be reduced.

This is a real drag. Too bad, this is a really good mod except for the CTD's after saves. Can't get past Yantar, when killed and restart a save, it'll crash every time. I've removed the vanilla version, reloaded it, patched it to 1.0004, installed mod per read me, and I still get this starting in Yantar. Every other level was till I got here, sigh. This is also the Rebal. V1.5.03 hotfix. There has to be a fix for this. I think if it is a bug in the mod that occurs every once in a while you might be doomed. Did you try starting a new game or does anyone know what is most likely to cause this error in the game. And how it can be avoided. -The 1.05.3 looks like it would be for the game patched to 1.0005 not 1.0004. 1.5.03 probably won't work with 1.0004.
