shadow_state;4491711Hi Supernatural, So you're saying that while playing Rebalanced v1.04, the mutants drop parts, but you can't eat them? Is that right? If so, then you have installed something wrong. Make sure you have the reb file config\misc\monster_items.ltx and are using the Reb 1.04.1 hotfix.

When you eat a monster part, it is no differant than a can of conserva or a medkit, just the propities are differant. For example, the burers hand, which is very rare, will heal up to 97% of your health, much like a medkit would, but it will also cure hunger by 9%, much like a sausage would.

Also note, that not all mutants drop any items, this will be changed in new patch. All mutants will have there own item that they might drop.

Im sorry I didnt actually realize you were talking about the mod version, just the STALKER version, in the vanilla/OL you just get the items. Duh. Sorry lolz. And yes it answered my question but i got a new one =p. I understand sustainance is hunger and endurance is well endurance and it would work like an energy drink but whats the difference between health and healing? Is health HP and healing stops bleeding?

Super, I thought that was obvious, since this is the Rebalanced thread, and 1.04 is the latest released version (and the only version to have edible parts), it's not the vanilla thread or the OL thread, that is why all the disccusion is about reb! You also said, "its just they're no longer edible" meaning that they were edible, but now they arn't, this gave me the impression that you have installed reb 1.04.

Your other question is correct.

Super & Pariah I like your idea of mutant parts being radioactive, I will implement this to some (as some mutants are actually anti-rad effect).

Sasha the head lamp will be more effective in the next version.

Apologies for bumping a year old thread, but I still love this mod. However, can anyone tell me how I can turn the important NPC's back into normal men rather than demigods?

I've never liked Wolf, anyway.

_______________________ 1st, do you realise that this is an out dated version of the mod? To get the current version look here (v1.05): Stalker - Rebalanced, Stalker Downloads, Stalker Singleplayer

Then patch with this (v1.05.3): Stalker - Rebalanced Hotfix, Stalker Downloads, Stalker Singleplayer

________________________________ 3rd, to answer your question, open the file gamedata\config\creatures\m_stalker.ltx and scroll to the very bottom where you will find this:

[stalker_damage_quest_npc] default = 0.05, -1, 0.05

[stalker_immunities_quest_npc] burn_immunity = 0.0 strike_immunity = 0.045 shock_immunity = 0.0 wound_immunity = 0.0 radiation_immunity = 0.0 telepatic_immunity = 0.0 chemical_burn_immunity = 0.0 explosion_immunity = 0.05 fire_wound_immunity = 0.45 wound_2_immunity = 0.0Simply delete everything after $spawn = "stalkers\quest_npc" so that it looks like this: [quest_npc]:stalker $spawn = "stalkers\quest_npc" ps, don't know if you will need a new game or not.
