anyway in clear sky, there are no old monsters, only the shoc default ones. they concentrated more on humans, not mutants at this time. also they removed all old things, so it seems it wont be possible to put them back in. it depends on: if we can port their anims to clear sky engine (if it will accept them or not) and also the mutant ogf files were made with old engine, and also if they removed classes.... so i dont thinnk there will be as many mods for clear sky as for shadow of chernobyl.
I gotta say, I love the idea of this mod. Mutants were great the first few playthroughs, but I'm tired of them. They're hindering the excellent stalker a-life in this mod because they take SO many bullets and just absolutely destroy anyone that faces them.
It sucks walking into the Freedom base for the first time to see nothing but white dots on the radar and a sole controller. Even the BAR was massacred by one of those damn things, only NPCs I saw were the Barman and the Arena guy. And now, going through Wild Territory isn't as much of a fun sniper battle anymore with the twenty or so mutants wandering around massacring all of the mercs & bandits. That place took the biggest hit with this mod I think, it's almost completely different now.
This is perfect for me. While everyone else might disagree, I really appreciate you making this mod, greysoup. I'm sick of wasting all my ammo.
Well, I'm glad someone found a use for this mod. For the rest of you though; I'm considering spending more time on making a monster infestation mod...
ekim616 you might also need to replace your oblivion_lost.script with this modified one that takes out the scripted spawns of controllers & co. You'll still hear the scripted monster sounds, but they won't appear out of nowhere.
Thank you for this mod, I was editing de oblivion_lost file ^^ But your file don't delete all the monsters spawned during the blowout... It is possible to do ??..
