I didn't make it!
So, with the recent failure of my attempt at meddling in the financial affairs of the zone, I've decide to meddle with the accuracial affairs of the zone. (Hey, if the president can make words, so can I). What this mod does: This mod, much like the deadeye dick mod, aims to make the guns more accurate, however, instead of altering the player's accuraccy variables, I have decided instead to remove conditional modifiers from the gun's accuraccy. Namely, these variables: PDM_disp_base = 0.0 PDM_disp_vel_factor = 0.0 PDM_disp_accel_factor = 0.0 PDM_crouch = 0.0 PDM_crouch_no_acc = 0.0 Notice they are 0's. This means there are no player-induced effects of accuraccy on the gun. It's as if the gun is gripped in a vise. I found this way of modifying the accuraccy gives a more substantial result. This does mean that you'll shoot as accurately while walking as you will while standing still, so if you feel that it breaks the game, sorry. Should you feel that you want a decreased accuraccy when moving, simply edit the weapon configs with notepad, I would change the disp_vel_factor and disp_accel_factor variables, these are for when you are moving I believe. Ahh yes, one last little bonus I rather enjoyed during my testing process has been left for you to discover. I do believe you'll get a kick out of it. It has something to do with different types of ammo, and a certain gun. You get the gun all over, so make sure you try different types of ammo with a certain common gun. I haven't uploaded it to filefront yet as I'd like a tad of feedback. Do play it, but start a new game. This mod is standalone, and as such, only messes with the accuraccy of guns. Should you wish to make it compatible with any other mod you may have, it is a waste of time. Instead, all you need to do is make sure each weapon's: PDM_disp_base = 0.0 PDM_disp_vel_factor = 0.0 PDM_disp_accel_factor = 0.0 PDM_crouch = 0.0 PDM_crouch_no_acc = 0.0
Look like that. Thanks Oh yeah, here's where you get this bad boy http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3R4ZM5VO var fo = new FlashObject("gui/ar_r.swf", "", "30", "10", 7, "#ffffff"); fo.addParam("wmode", "transparent"); fo.write();
