ive wondered this too. I would love for stalker to have real time 24 hour days.

However I think it is a lot of work, and much more detailed TOD file (or whatever stalker uses to do sunsets/sunrise graphics/shading) would be needed.

edit alife.ltx .... and change:

time_factor = 10 to time_factor = 1

this makes the time 10x slower as in game now, actually as i know that means realtime maybe, but never tested it long...

Ahh, thank you! I've been wondering where to change the time passing.

Can it really be as simple as that?

I wonder what the exact number is to match each game hour to 1/2 and hour real time, so each game day would take roughly 12 hours real time (minus sleeps and oh-shit-what-just-hit-me-press-quickload factors, of course).

According to dezodors explanation it should be time factor 2.

OK, I did this

time_factor = 10 to time_factor = 1

but it didn't work - the clock still went up at 10x.

Should I also change the line down that reads

normal_time_factor = 10;

to

normal_time_factor = 1;

??

OK, that didn't work either.

I'm using OL2 and FCAR. Any ideas?
