Is it possible? I know there is mods out there that makes its possible to attach scopes to most rifles, i was wondering which string should i adjust for toz-34 for it to be compatible with any of the scopes? Or maybe there is a mod out there like that? I love toz-34, its my fav weapon in stalker, gives me the real hunter feeling, and its great in all ranges but the longest, so scope might fix that and then it would be real all purpose weapon! Please help me out...

Ok, i can do this easy. although you should note, that no scope will actually appear on the weapon in-game, as that requires modelling which is as far as i know, currently unavailable to the typical modeller. You will be able to zoom and all the rest just no scope appears on the gun itself... anyways the lines you need to add to any weapon to make 'em work is this: scope_status = 1 zoom_enabled = true scope_zoom_factor = 15 scope_texture = wpn\wpn_crosshair_rpg

scope staus = 1, just tells the game that there is currently a scope attached. zoom enabled allows you to use the right mouse button (or other assigned key) to zoom. scope_zoom_factor is how far it will zoom in. the lower the number the further it zooms for some reason. 15 i believe is 4x zoom, and 55 is no zoom...i think... and scope texture is what you see as you look through the scope. i have put the rpg view, but here are all the others that i am aware of, edit the line as you will. wpn\wpn_crosshair_l85 wpn\wpn_crosshair_l85 wpn\wpn_crosshair_rpg wpn\wpn_crosshair wpn\wpn_crosshair_bino (binoculars view... could be interesting...)

included i have the TOS 34 file with those lines added in. just extract it to STALKER\gamedata\config\weapons and make sure that in your fsgame.ltx the line: $game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\

is changed to: $game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\

In the file, change the scope texture to whatever you will...

thx a billion! One question tho... i understand why the scope wont appear on the gun but is it attachabe and detachable like most of the rifles? Like if i want to use it without the scope and when i find a potshot, i slap it on and make wind whistle in any stalkers head.:naughty: Or is it impossible to detach it ingame like for the SA-80?

...possibly... i'm not entirely sure about that though... I believe that if i trunge through some of the weapon files i may find it...

Ugh. To make it detachable, set the scopestatus line to 2. Be aware, though, the model will not show up in any case, you will just be able to zoom in when you alt fire.

i believe it will use whatever scope is meant to be compatible with the weapon, unless none are compatible in which case it doesn't matter you nnever see it :p
