I only just realised that niphty's guide is 21 pages long and i think most of this stuff is all ready in there, so my apologies. Add-on's To let a weapon have an add-on that it can’t, like the grenade launcher on the G36 for example you have to go into the weapons file, which is located at gamedata\config\weapons then go into the weapon LTX file that you want to mod, then find the these codes; scope_status = 1 silencer_status = 2 grenade_launcher_status = 0;2 The numbers beside each add-on mean whether they can equip it or not. 0 means that it is not compatible, 1 means that it is non removable and 2 means it is optional. The semi-colon means nothing, only the first number counts. You cannot do stupid things like give shotguns or sniper rifles a silencer or a grenade launcher, the game will just crash when you try to load the game up. It is also not a good idea to remove a non-removable add-on, like the scopes on the L85 or G36 as they do not have an iron sight aiming view. Prices To change prices of weapons go to gamedata\config\weapons and click on the LTX file of the weapon you want to change, then find cost and change the value next to it. This is the same for outfits and items, but they are located in gamedata\misc then the outfit.LTX or the items.LTX file. Adding 3rd Person View Go to Shared Documents\STALKER-SHOC then open user.LTX and add these lines to the bottom: Bind cam_1 kF1 Bind cam_2 kF2 Bind cam_3 kF3 This way, F1 will be first person view, F2 will be third person view straight behind the player and F3 will go to third person view and let you look around the player. P.S you can watch how funny he runs when you don’t have a weapon or item out. Weapons in the bar Go to gamedata\scripts then open up sr_no_weapon.script then find the lines: bind_stalker.hide_weapon() bind_stalker.restore_weapon() And then change them to this: // bind_stalker.hide_weapon() // bind_stalker.restore_weapon() CAUTION!!! DO NOT SHOOT the barman, Sidorovich or the scientist. If you do the game will crash. Wolf's Items To change the items that wolf gives you at the start go to gamedata\scripts and open escape_dialog.script. Then find this: dialogs.relocate_item_section(trader, "wpn_fort", "in") dialogs.relocate_item_section(trader, "wpn_wincheaster1300", "in") dialogs.relocate_item_section(trader, "ammo_9x18_fmj", "in") dialogs.relocate_item_section(trader, "ammo_9x18_fmj", "in") dialogs.relocate_item_section(trader, "ammo_12x70_buck", "in") dialogs.relocate_item_section(trader, "ammo_12x70_buck", "in") Then replace the existing items inbetween the "" with what you want. Each ammo_ is only a box of ammo. You can also add more by copying the line over. The names of all the weapons and ammo are in gamedata\config\weapons, outfit names are in gamedata\config\misc then outfit.LTX and item names are in gamedata\config\misc then items.LTX. Max walk weight First go into gamedata\config\creatures and open Actor.LTX. Then find the line of code that says max_item_mass = 50.0 and change it to what ever you want. Then find the line of code that says max_walk_weight = 60 and change this to what ever you want, then save the file and close it. Next to go gamedata/config and open system.LTX. then find the line of code that says max_weight = 50 and change this to what ever you want, then find the line that says max_ruck = 56 and change that, its probably a good idea to put them all relatively at the same amount, then save the file and close it and you can now carry more!, or less…if you put it lower for some reason.
