I think I have heard of a solution to this before, but the search function doesnt seem to be able to find one.....

I am playing Vanilla and about the middle of the plot I suddenly started experienceing a walk/run lag. I take 4 steps then stop and have to re-accelerate again.

Restarting the game doesnt effect it and neither does editing the actor.ltx to increase speed or reduce phmass.......

Any thoughts?

Unfortunatly I have had that several times. Once in a while I can go back to previous named save, but have also had to retart from the beginning.

I used to get it using a trainer, and running to the edge of a level. The high radiation that would usually kill you, for some reason gives you laggy movement. I think the only way to to fix it is as Fearless said, load a previous save. Or try taking a stupid amount of antirad and see if that doesn't anything.

If anything, it's more annoying than death =p

Now that you mention it......

The first time I tried to do the duty rifle quest the guy carrying it had died beyond the level entrance to the agropom.....killed by dogs right on the border or some stupid thing. His locator was right at the edge of the map but I couldnt see a body.

I tried to get back there and got massivly radiated.

Bet that was when it started crap

If the antirad doesn't work, try modding an artifact to remove radiation super fast.

And jeez, I just realised how awful my typing was in that last post. This timed editing is a bugger sometimes.

Yeah, its funny cause I have got it with multiple different mods including Priboi. Always after going into an area with high rad. So it's not just with OL 2.2, although I can't remember if it happened with the original version.

Yes, I am playing Vanilla now and it nailed me.

It has to be somewhere in an .ltx related to radiation, but I dont see anything on the actor.ltx
