Once you've extracted the DB files and done the changes you want, how do you use the modified DB files??

if you modded the files in the original unpacked location then just start up the game.

if the game sees files in a gamedata folder it will load those over any files in a db archive.

It was my fault, i updated half way through so DB files were 1.0000 and was running 1.0001 :/

I had no problems what so ever with this game. Noted i've kept it in Static(DX-8) mode cause im not sacrifising from 1600x1200 to 1024x768 with lower settings!!! Makes no sense and the DX-8 is amazing anyways.

I would agree but i all i got is IMPROVEMENTS FROM IT!!!:eek::eek::eek:

My wireless works better and doesnt cut out, i get no performance difference in anything i use. Only problem is M-Audio have no VISTA Drivers for my soundcard.

But although ive been lucky, Vista is a silly move for a good year or so till drivers and what not get sorted.

Actually, it's STALKERS fault that it doesn't play nice with Vista. :P

(And Vista runs better than XP, it's almost a complete overhaul.)

DX9 on vista uses emulation, so until they get drivers working with the new structure things are going to be slower.

However we are going off topic, so i suggest we get back on topic.
