I need help i am currently working on a wepon mod and have added three new ammo types to the game (shotgun shell,50cal fmj, and 50cal hollowpoint) but only the shotgun shells work when i add them to the bartender and if i add my 50 cal bullets game crashes as i walk into bar but if i dont add them to bartender and buy a desert egal and unload it i get my 50cal bullets i can't figure out whats going on anyone got any ideas? :confused: all my new ammos work well and kick ass but bar crashes when i add .50's on to bartender

read the log, open a new text doc. and paste, it should tell you what happened. Post that up here if you need more help.

i tryed to creat a new ammo to (ironicly it was 50. cal) i cant figure out what im doing wrong (maby game dosnt liek .50 cal lol only one i tryed) but how did u make the shotgun just in uniq or in ammo? iv ogt makeing new weapons and armor down but i want to relise a few new ammo types with the next relise of "Assassin's Mod" (you can dl current of stlaker files now)

First of all, it says "Can't open section 'ammo_.50hollowpoint'" because your ammo ID is "ammo_50hollowpoint" you forgot to add a '.'. Also, I noticed you had spaces in your ammunitions name. It should be "ammo_.50_hp" instead of ".50 hollowname". Other than that, everything seems fine.

the .50 hollowname works because if i get the ammo the description and name are how i put them in the string_table_enc_weapons file but i will try the . before the 50hollow

I don't know how you copy/pasted that error but once the game crash, close everything ( error pop-ups, warning windows etc., ) and open up notepad and paste ( No need to copy anything, when the game crash, it copy the error logs into the cache ). It will paste a small log with all the informations you need.

yay i get it working i just compared my .50 with .45 thing that was wrong was: my .50 said:weapons\ammo\ammo-11.43x23-fmj when it should have been:weapons\ammo\ammo_1143x23_fmj.ogf lol spent 3 days trying to figure that out
