The game keeps crashing and returning to the desktop randomly during saving, playing or returning to the title screen (hitting esc). I'm currently running the 1.0003 patch and have all the latest hardware device drivers installed on my system, my system specs are: ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Intel Core 2 E6600 2.4 Ghz 1xATI Sapphire x1900XT Crossfire 512MB 2GB DDR 1066Mhz Ram 250 GB HD (156GB Free) Creative Audigy Sound Blaster ZS 650Watt Crossfire Power Supply Windows Vista 32bit Business Here is the error I get in the log file: FATAL ERROR [error]Expression : data [error]Function : CVirtualFileReader::CVirtualFileReader [error]File : D:\xray-svn\xrCore\FS.cpp [error]Line : 462 [error]Description : c:\users\public\documents\stalker-shoc\savedgames\edward davis_quicksave.sav [error]Arguments : Not enough storage is available to process this command. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have yet to play any of this game since it's been crashing since I purchased it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't try that fix because my log seemed different than everyone else since it seemed as if it was refeering to hard drisk storage. Since I've tried it I had 3 hours of gaming without a single crash. Thanks again.

I'm having the same sort of crashes but I have XP instead. It never used to happen before.

I'm not sure it will work, but you might just try this fix, it propably also works for xp... Otherwise google a bit, there certainly is a solution for xp similiar to this somewhere...
