I am in amrogom thing and its dark really dark so dark i cant see and my flashlight doesn't work and night vision is useless can anyone help with this ??????

Another alternative, if you have been running with lower settings:
Bring down the console (press ` [open single quote] if you are using the default key bindings) and type this:
r1_dlights on
Press the Enter key, then press the Esc key to exit the console. Then try your flashlight.
The minimum settings disable the flashlight.
