i am running the oblivions lost mod on my pc no other mods but every time i get to the part where you go to the 2nd level it crashes and comes up with this screen and quits the game. it happens every time i play and i dont know why. It also wont let me save the game during the time that i am playing.:confused:

Any help would be great

First, Have you done any changes to the mod files yourself? Undo them if so and test.

Then, look at the crash log here: [COLOR="Blue"]C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\STALKER-SHOC\logs

-> xray_yourname.log[/COLOR]

For Vista: [COLOR="DarkGreen"]C:\Users\Public\Documents\stalker-shoc\logs -> xray_yourname.log[/COLOR]

If your go all the way at the bottom of the log, it should have the fatal error message something like this:

[COLOR="Purple"]FATAL ERROR [error]Expression : vertex || show_restrictions(m_object) [error]Function : CPatrolPathManager::select_point [error]File : E:\stalker\sources\trunk\xr_3da\xrGame\patrol_path _manager.cpp [error]Line : 155 [error]Description : any vertex in patrol path [bar_freedom_attack_camper_1_walk] in inaccessible for object [bar_freedom_attacker_2][/COLOR]

See what is there paste it into a reply. It should give an idea of what is causing the issue.

Ok i got the game to work again by changing the system itx file. so now i can enter the second and third level (the bar) unfortunatly there is a vortex anomile on the main pathe to the actual bar next to the rusty car. when i try and bypass it and go next to the car the came just stops as if i had quit it and no error report comes up:confused:.

If i go nowhere near the car it works fine but there is a springboard anomile on the other route around that instantly kills me if i try and run through it. even though i am in a merc suit (the one found in corndon). Any help on that would be great. It can be really annoying because the mass amounts of mutants there are really hard to bypass without the crashes and anomiles. Thanks for the help though and any thoughts on this would be great:)

Also do you know where you get the first recipe for artifact transmutation (or something like that) so i can look out for it. Thanks:)

I cant remember where the first recipe is, (bad memory problem) but dont give up on the OL mod. It makes a great game even better. This forum has answered most of my questions, but my memory lets me down a lot. Regards from Cespenar.

Got around the problem just had to go for a trek. the Oblivions lost mod is better than the origional game.

I found a few recipes but i carnt change one of my atrifacts dont know why? Unless the Urchin and porcupine are different artifacts. If that is the case that is the reason why. I have never seen a porcupine before. Any help on their where abouts would be great Thanks

Porcupine is the "mutation" of the Urchin when you drop it into the centre of a "Burner anomaly" I think.

Although I use OL 2.2, I think the artifact transmutations run the same times or so, like, try around these times, 18:00 - 06:00, if done correctly, you should have a white flash for a moment, then returning to normal, also if you notice, the anomaly has engulfed the artifact, then just wait the required amount of hours, *should sleep near in a safe spot* and you should receive a message stating if it was a successful transmutation, the artifacts should be lying around somewhere near the anomaly you dropped them into.
