:confused:Okay, one day I updated the drivers on my Nvidia GeForce 8400GS, I believed it would help me to run stalker, it did the opposite, my screen turned to messy hell of purple when I played stalker, in a fit of anger, I deleted ALOT of driver files using the NFR (nasty file remover). Only a week earlier did I realise this is whats now screwing my ability to play clear sky on anything higher than static lighting, and shadow of chernobyl is now a static experience as well. Does anybody have any idea which drivers I need to download to get my STALKER's back up and running? P.S: That so=-called "frenzy of driver deletion" occured about a month ago...

I didn't make it!

Do you remember the older drivers that you had before, seem you might want to chat with Nvidia on this one and see if you need to reinstall thoes.

Not much to do, except to dig into NVidia's driver archives and to test them on your WIndows (hopefully it is XP). Maybe you should need dual-boot configuration for that, one for testing and one for final installation of verified product. But you will need clean install of Windows and both games. that's for sure.
