When I get into the game, everything goes fine, except the sky. On the Static lighting level, the environment just kind of melds to it. On the next two settings, the sky is just yellow. My computer has a geforce 6600 256mb card, 512 ram, and a soyo P4VTP motherboard. I updated the video drivers, and directx. Any ideas? Thanks!

i had/ have a similar problem (among others) with sky being smudged, the only way i found to 'fix' it is to run the game in windowed mode (its an option in the basic video options in the game, uncheck the box that says 'run in full screen'.) This is not ideal however as the game is not quite full screen and leaves a few centimetrs of desktop showing at bottom. my desktop is 1024 768@ 80 hertz and game res is same. I have a 6600gt 256 , which may be the problem.

Thanks, that worked. At least I can play it now. Let's hope that they patch it, or maybe nvidia will update the drivers some more... Thanks again!

It wouldnt hurt if you had more RAM, but that shouldnt be affecting the sky.

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Yeah, twice. I would love to get my hands on some more RAM, but it's so darn expensive.

RAM is actually fairly cheap, compared to other comp upgrades.

As a last ditch,

not sure if this will work, but my comp had a 'failure to load vga' one time, so i removed my card completely from the case, then put it back in and it recognized it.
