I think that your problem is the portals. I seem to remember getting that "cant open section 'ac'" error when I first started using portals. I stoped using portals and I have not seen it since.

"its portals and not portals", the problem is variable, xray engine have a limited space available for strong variables, that means storing userfull date of certain states. When the game or mod go over that limit, you save game become corrupted. That is the only reason why im doing ABC Inferno 1.2 to correct that problem, which is already fixed, but im also adding others stuffs. There is nothing that you can do to fix that problem, if you still want to play the mod, then wait for Inferno 1.2
