Maybe the problem is not RAM exactly, try to format your System disk, then Install new fresh Windows XP SP2, I hope this can help?

^As I said, this never used to happen before until I patched it to v1.0003. The crashes started to occuring right after that. Plus, I just don't think I the time to reformat and install windows again. :p

Nope that's definatly too much work and won't help.

the problem stalker has is that it needs a large page file (Auf deutsch: Auslagerungsdatei).

go to (for germans) Systemsteuerung/System/Leistung There you can define a larger pagefile ;)

So If I have the latest patch which is 1.0003, I just have to do the step 2 right? And If I change this setting in command prompt, will it effect my system? I mean It won't be a problem to a system if I change this bcdedit setting? Please help me on this because I don't want to ruin my computer by changing this settings, but I do want to play Stalker without getting crash everytime I try to save. Thanks to any help
