Hi, i had to re-install windows so i d/l radiant again but somthing is wrong everytime i load the textures all of them have the (shader image not found) now its installed to the same place as the previous install but somthing's not right , so does anyone know about my problem thanks.

it means it can't find the textures/shaders. are you sure you entered the right path? personally i started using 1.2.13 again, because i don't like 1.4 at all, so buggy and slow still :S

Yeah the same place installed to last time C:\programfiles\sof2dhgold. maybe i'll try 1.2.13 again see if that helps.

Is the basepath in your "project settings" correct?

Base path in project settings is as follows C:/program files/soldier of fortune 2-double helix//base,, sorry im not too good when it comes to the technical side of things lol.

You may need to manually unpack the textures in "testures0.pk3" and "textures1234.pk3" as well as manually unpack the shaders found in "therest.pk3"

I know that the shaders that come with GTK are incomplete.

there is a tut that says how to do this for sdk, if you follow #6 and 7 here, except extract them to your sof2/base folder insted of where it says.

This is what I did to set things up (try at your own risk, hehe):

make a copy of "textures0.pk3" rename it to "textures0.zip" take the folder inside ot called "textures" out, and put it inside your "base" folder

Make a copy of "therest.pk3" rename it to "therest.zip" take the folder inside it called "shaders" and put that into your "base folder. - at this point it may ask you if you wan tto overwrite the shaders folder that is there, choose "yes".
