:cya: Hi, anyone know how to turn a jpg. file into a pk3. file if you do post here and tell me how its done i would apriciate it verry much :stallard::dance:

Zip the JPG (including the necessary directories)... then rename the ZIP to PK3. That's all :smokin:

What do u mean by renaming the zip to pk3??? an example would be good

Hey there, All you gotta do is, take your jpg file and put it in a zip file by using winzip.

If your unsure how to do this. Let me know in the next post.

But if you do then read on......

You go into windows explorer by going to Run and type explorer

From there, you check to see if you can see file extensions like .jpg .exe .txt stuff like that

If you cant let me know in the next post.

But if you can then you all set..... this is what you do

Look for your file you make. Say you called it Texture.zip

You highlight the file, Simply press F2, this will make the file so you can rename it. Then you just highlight where it says zip and type in pk3. So it will say Texture.pk3 instead of Texture.zip
