ok well u know how u see like a light trail like a hole in a wall and u can see the light shine through it from other side and it leaves like a trail pretty much the glare can that be done for sof2?
yeah, there are some lightbeam shaders hanging around (stuk made some). But you would have to make the brush(es) of these beams by hand and apply that shader. A spotlight to show the light on the ground more clearly would also add to that nicely.

dang he dropped them from his homepage... Stuk@home. Ask him nicely in an email or rip it from one of his .pk3 files (he must have used it in chem i believe).
k well try and find the file if u can coz i dunno what to search for i wanted to use them for jungle map were the jungle has folage covering all the trees so no light can get in but there are some gaps in between the trees thats were i wanted to use them :)
