Hi i got a tyre that i want to be laying flat on the ground but it wont let me do it is this possible to do or not?:uhm:
i have got the same problem i created a micro-uzi replacement but ingame its half in the ground does any1 know what this can be i use ms3d
Can you start your own theread for your own prob and not ask another question in somone elses yeah good thanks. clearly this is not the same problem is it.
Yeah, this can be done: 1. if the tire is a brush: with the brush of the tire selected, choose Selection -> Rotate -> Rotate X or Y, just try until the tire is lying ok. 2. If the tire is a md3-model and you want a model which is lying horizontally, you can open it in Milkshape and rotate it along the axis you want till placed horizontally. Then you can export it (to a new modelfile ofcourse). For exporting using Milkshape look at the thread of Paga, called 'new model?': http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=113260 Greetz, B.
lol, that's way too much work, it's really easy in fact, select the model, press N and add the key//value "angles" "x y z" where x y and z determine the angle in which it is rotated in that direction, so a horizontal tyre would be something like
"angles" "0 90 0"
i think it's this, but i'm not sure, if it isn't, one of the other 2 should be 90 :) it always takes some fiddling to get it right
Ofcourse! I only used 'angle' till now (i'm just a first-time mapper) but there should have been a way... Thx LB.
