I think that 3DSMAX is alot better than milkshape.And isn't there a plugin for 3DSMAX to export to ghoul somewhere on this site?

Yeah . . I used to use MilkShape3D to import the GLM, then export as a 3ds . . and edit in 3D Studio Max.

As said in the above post . . there is an importer, I found it the other day, here it is:

3ds max Plug-in: Ghoul2 Import Ver.2

Yeah, that does the trick :)

Once in 3DStudio Max you can do all sorts . . add, edit, remove parts of the gun . . or animate it :D how fun. Of course you can probably do all that in MilkShape3D but I'm sure 3DS Max is much better :P

The reason it doesn't work is because importing into 3dsmax removes all the bones and animations, which need to be recreated for the weapon to work.
