Hiya ppl tried so much.. got problem with this damn light thing... there is no hole or leak or whatever.... cant describe it any more im so fu**ed up! just look at this http://email@example.com/light.JPG wtf is that? can someone plz help me...? it really sux.. big thx :bows:
not really sure what you are asking.
What I see are shaders that are givng off light. If you mean you need more light, then add light entities - Light emmitting shaders usually dont give off enough light by themselves to light a room. If you mean "why are the shaders making light?" - thast the answer - they are light emitting shaders. Many shaders that are light emmitters also have a corrisponding shader that has the same texture but doesnt give off light. You can use these to look like lights, but then only use the entity lights that you want to presisly light an area.
i once saw someone who created light effects in his map ONLY by using the light emmission from the shaders (which he 'slightly' increased). it looked very nice and realistic. however, the map seems compiled correclty, so adding light entities should fix it :)
I removed all the lights i thought could cause the problem and i removed them so that you can see that thing better .what i mean is the damn thing with those "steps" in it i hope you know what i mean... ill show it to you wait... look now here i marked the area which i mean http://firstname.lastname@example.org/light.JPG ( you should save the picture and then open itwith a program you can start with a black background (psp8 or so ) for a better view! ) if you want i can post a picture of my map ( so you see the lights around this place..) i think you can get it better then one more information (behind the "player" (lol) is a sliding door and outside is an area with sky .. but it has no holes or anything (the entry of the house ) so that light from outside could come in! strange problem eh.... ye.. so.. thx hope you can help me now :smokin: While waiting ill have a beer :bows:
or look here then youll see what i mean i removed all lights around there : http://email@example.com/light2.JPG (i sugguest viewing it in a image editing program using a black background and ull see wut i mean :bows: :naughty: )
heyyy hooo ppl found my fault :naughty: 4 units of my sky overlapped into the entry hall :uhm: moved it away... now it works cheers guys  :nodding: :naughty:
