i find that getting a realistic camo effect for a skin is kinda hard to acheive. give it a try, perhaps you have more skill than i do!

skinning guns and such is actually quite easy. you do need winzip and make sure it is in classic mode not the wizard. do not attempt to edit skins in zip folder it self. extract the folders into a new folder. you are after models open models.pk3 and extract into a folder that you name models. make sure you have use folders checked in the winzip program, for you will need the stuture of teh folders for your pk3. once all the files are extracted open the folder you placed them in. look for the image you want to edit. make sure ya pay attention to the order of folders the image was placed in, once you find the image copy it. go to desktop or another folder and make a new folder. now here is the tricky part. the folder ya put the weapon skin in has to have same structure as the folders it came out of. example. you say ya want to skin the sniper rifle. you want to make one folder and name it models, open that folder and make a new folder in that one and name that one weapons, then open that folder and make a new folder again and name that one ms90a1 then open that folder and put the image ya copied out of the origianl folder into that one. now ya are ready to skin. skin ya gun and once ya done save it. then go back and zip the models folder you made with winzip. once it zipped change the ext of the file from .zip to .pk3. place that pk3 file in your base/mp folder and your gun should be skinned. the biggest part is making sure ya got your file structure right. good luck and i hope this helps....
