im pretty sure a leak is when a texture does not show up im not to sure because im new to mapping

a leak is when ur level is in contact wit the ''outside'' like when u have a hole in ur sky box

CARNUFEXU r [color=darkred]tryin[/color] to get a fullVis, but the process is blocked at the first step (see the Junk): so u cant get ur map enlighted. U see: your map is ********************** ******* leaked ******* ********************** and i think there is also some evil brush or degenerated plane that cause the problem. Then try this: 1) go to Plugins > bobtoolz > brush Cleanup (delete all higlihted brushes); 2) Find the leak/s and fix it/em: use some debug option from Bsp menu, for example: "Q3map2: (single) BSP -meta". Then follow the red line and fit the hole (check also if some external structural brush is turned detail by mistake: press Ctrl+D to see only structural brushes); 3) save ur map w/ a new name and run again a FullVis. Hope this help :beer:

right i just tryed this and this is what it says after the plugins bobtoolz n brush clean up 0 invalid/duplicate planes removed so whats that mean :uhoh: :notworking:

Ok. That mean ur map is Evil brushes free. (sometimes complex shaped brushes becomes infinitelly tall and go over the worldspan, by means that the compliler can not calculate portals data: so cause the process abort).

Anyway u cant be 100% sure until u check manually the brushes count. But that's a bit boring job. Before to do so u need to fix the leak: see my post above (point 2).

Suggestion: be patient :coffee:

well yes my buildings do go over the world spawn point is that a problem

What? Are u speaking seriously?

...so u builded a skyscraper taller than ur sky... :beer:

The worldspan is the space cointaing all the brushes, entities..etc. any thing u pun in ur map, and nothing can be outside it.

So, u found the sollution: then fix the leak by making a taller skybox or a smaller building :rolleyes:

wtf is a sky box anyway plus i dont want my buildings sammler otherwise i might aswell re build it cause the name for it will be usless
