i think pure should get a new meaning: anything must be the same except for the weapon skins and sounds, that way were happy and noone can actually cheat...with textures that is... :naughty:
I just noticed it too, it only seems to happen in desert maps (including jor1) i saw one sniping and the reflection from the desert textures are quite greenish/light brownish... how ever at that range i would have seen em anyhow
CAL has actually BANNED! people for using custom skins through the unpure then pure.
